19 And they made6213 war4421 with the Hagarites,1905 with Jetur,3195 and Nephish,5305 and Nodab.5114

20 And they were helped5826 against5921 them, and the Hagarites1905 were delivered5414 into their hand,3027 and all3605 that were with them: for they cried2199 to God430 in the battle,4421 and he was entreated6279 of them; because3588 they put their trust982 in him.

21 And they took away7617 their cattle;929 of their camels1581 fifty2572 thousand,505 and of sheep6629 two hundred3967 and fifty2572 thousand,505 and of asses2543 two thousand,505 and of men5315 120 an hundred3967 thousand.505

22 For there fell5307 down5422 many7227 slain,2491 because3588 the war4421 was of God.430 And they dwelled3427 in their steads8478 until5704 the captivity.1473

23 And the children1121 of the half2677 tribe7626 of Manasseh4519 dwelled3427 in the land:776 they increased7235 from Bashan1316 to Baalhermon1179 and Senir,8149 and to mount2022 Hermon.2768

24 And these428 were the heads7218 of the house1004 of their fathers,1 even Epher,6081 and Ishi,3469 and Eliel,447 and Azriel,5837 and Jeremiah,3414 and Hodaviah,1938 and Jahdiel,3164 mighty1368 men582 of valor,2428 famous8034 men,582 and heads7218 of the house1004 of their fathers.1

25 And they transgressed4603 against the God430 of their fathers,1 and went a whoring2181 after310 the gods430 of the people5971 of the land,776 whom834 God430 destroyed8045 before6440 them.

26 And the God430 of Israel3478 stirred5782 up the spirit7307 of Pul6322 king4428 of Assyria,804 and the spirit7307 of Tilgathpilneser8407 king4428 of Assyria,804 and he carried1540 them away,1540 even the Reubenites,7206 and the Gadites,1425 and the half2677 tribe7626 of Manasseh,4519 and brought935 them to Halah,2477 and Habor,2249 and Hara,2024 and to the river5104 Gozan,1470 to this2088 day.3117

16 Гадиты жили в Галааде, в Башане и в его городах и на всех пастбищах Шарона, до самых их пределов.

17 Все они были внесены в родословные записи во время правления Иотама, царя Иудеи, и Иеровоама, царя Израиля.

18 У родов Рувима, Гада и половины рода Манассии было сорок четыре тысячи семьсот шестьдесят мужчин, пригодных к военной службе, — крепких мужчин, которые умели обращаться с щитом и мечом, натягивать лук и сражаться.

19 Они вели войну с агарянами, Иетуром, Нафишем и Нодавом.

20 Бог помог им в их сражении и отдал агарян и всех их союзников в их руки, потому что они взывали к Нему во время битвы. Он ответил на их молитвы, потому что они верили Ему.
